Integration Technician
Primary Function
Systems integration, testing, and bring-up on complex electrical and mechanical robot system
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support testing team in day-to-day setup needs
- Assemble mechanical components
- Assist with maintaining lab space organization
- Soldering and PCB component re-work
- Wiring harness assembly and verification
- Perform test procedures on electrical and mechanical assemblies
Skill / Job Requirements
- Ability to build prototype wire harnesses and crimp connectors
- Soldering abilities (including SMT components)
- Familiarity with mechanical hand tools and mechanical assembly
- Basic electrical skills (use of multi-meter and power-supplies, ability to debug simple circuits)
- Familiarity with computers (ability to use common programs)
- Interest in learning new skills, becoming familiar with new systems
- Detail-focused and reliable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and unstructured environment
