Integration Technician

Primary Function

Systems integration, testing, and bring-up on complex electrical and mechanical robot system

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support testing team in day-to-day setup needs
  • Assemble mechanical components
  • Assist with maintaining lab space organization
  • Soldering and PCB component re-work
  • Wiring harness assembly and verification
  • Perform test procedures on electrical and mechanical assemblies

Skill / Job Requirements

  • Ability to build prototype wire harnesses and crimp connectors
  • Soldering abilities (including SMT components)
  • Familiarity with mechanical hand tools and mechanical assembly
  • Basic electrical skills (use of multi-meter and power-supplies, ability to debug simple circuits)
  • Familiarity with computers (ability to use common programs)
  • Interest in learning new skills, becoming familiar with new systems
  • Detail-focused and reliable
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and unstructured environment
